Peace of Mind for the Holidays

‘Tis the season… to be mindful, skillful, and to protect your mental health.

The holiday season is often filled with festive lights, family traditions, gift-giving, shared meals, and time with loved ones. But for many, it can also bring difficult family dynamics, increased anxiety, seasonal depression, grief, or feelings of loneliness.

If you’re finding the season a bit heavy this year, you’re not alone. We are here to help you experience the holidays in a way that preserves your peace, helps you rediscover moments of joy, or simply find a space to breathe and be heard.

Join us for support groups, skill-building, individual counselling, or family counselling- Our door is open.

    Holiday Groups

‘Tis the season for things to be merry and bright, but sometimes it might not feel that way. We are offering groups to support with anxiety and depression over the holidays, grief group/workshop, and DBT Based Coping Ahead Group.

  • DBT: Cope Ahead - Holiday Edition

Cope Ahead is a skill from Emotion Regulation- one of the DBT modules. When we anticipate stressful events might occur, coping ahead allows us to determine which skills can be helpful, rehearse how to use them, and support with problem solving.
