In line with our goal of inclusivity in mental health care, many of the clinicians offer a reduced fee/low cost session option. These spaces are limited and provided to those who are experiencing financial hardships, are otherwise unable to access low cost or free services or experiencing extenuating circumstances.

Where are services provided? Currently, all individual counselling sessions are provided virtually. The availability varies based off of clinician. All clinicians are based out of British Columbia, Canada.

Do you offer direct billing? Direct billing is not available at this time for most clinicians. Clinicians will provide receipts that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement, if applicable. Please verify which services and service providers are a covered under your plan/benefits.

Our clinical team can help with…..

Our anxiety does not empty tomorrow of its sorrows, but only empties today of its strengths.

Anxiety, Stress & Worry

Feeling overwhelmed? Thoughts stuck in your head that you can’t seem to let go of? Worrying constantly? A little bit of anxiety is helpful, it drives us to take action. Sometimes anxiety gets to the point where it interferes with our ability to enjoy things, concentrate or complete daily tasks. Our clinicians can help you better understand your anxiety and learn new ways to cope.

Depression & Low Mood

Low mood, decreased motivation, struggling with sleep, feeling hopeless, not enjoying the things you used to are all symptoms of depression. We are here to help you come out of the dark times, rebuild energy levels and come back to a sense of accomplishment, pleasure and purpose.

Our clinicians frequently use a CBT based framework, an evidenced based treatment for depression.

LGBTQ+ Specific Issues

We honour the experiences of individuals from diverse backgrounds and identities and recognize the unique lens in which mental health is experienced. Our team includes clinicians with lived experiences in the community and with donor conceived persons.

Self Harm & Suicidal Ideation

Myth #1: Talking about suicide increases the likelihood of suicide. Counselling offers the space to talk about what you’re experiencing, work through the pain, and come back to life worth living. We will work collaboratively to create a safety plan (Not just a piece of paper) but a real plan with coping tools, strategies, and realistic skills you can use to get through tougher times.

We do not provide crisis resources/support. In the event of an emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
