India Gielnik (she/her) MA, CCC, RCC is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology who is passionate about creating a counselling experience that feels approachable, collaborative and grounded in genuine human connection. She believes that therapy works best when clients feel safe, understood and accepted as they are and she prioritizes building a therapeutic relationship based on trust, authenticity and mutual respect.
India works from a trauma-informed, relational lens and is particularly interested in attachment and relational patterns, relationship issues and interpersonal dynamics, and emotional regulation and building resilience. She recognizes that our past experiences, relationships and environments can shape how we see ourselves, connect with others and navigate life's challenges. Through counselling, she supports clients in exploring these patterns, developing greater self-awareness and building practical tools that foster resilience, connection, and lasting change.
Her practice is grounded in feminist and anti-oppressive values, with an understanding that mental health is influenced not only by individual experiences but also by broader social, cultural, and systemic factors. India is committed to providing care that is inclusive, affirming, and responsive to each client's unique lived experience. She is also passionate about making mental health care accessible and approachable for all, particularly for those who may feel uncertain about reaching out for support.
